This series takes you on a visual journey through the year 2024, with a carefully curated selection of the top 75 photos taken this year. From breathtaking landscapes to fascinating animal life, from detailed macro shots to architectural wonders, each image tells a unique story.

Many different locations were visited during the year, each with its own charm and beauty. The vast dunes of Terschelling, the autumnal hills of the Ardennes, the dark shores of the Frisian Wadden Sea, and the vast nature of the Veluwe came alive through the lens. The urban splendour of Groningen, the iconic windmills of Kinderdijk and the impressive architecture in Rotterdam were some of the many highlights. In (nature) parks such as Oostvaardersplassen, the Zandhove forest in Zwolle, the 'wandelbos' in Tilburg and the vast areas in Heerde, Hulshorst and Groningen, the wonders of flora and fauna were captured in their purest forms. Zoos and wildlife parks, both close to home and in Germany, also offered spectacular close-up moments where rich biodiversity came to life.
